Seamless Pipes Dealer & Stockist in Delhi

Where pressure, temperature or code compliance rules out a welded seam, you need seamless pipe. Because it is extruded from a solid billet there is no longitudinal weld to fail, which is why ASTM A106 Grade B is the default specification for steam, high-pressure water, oil and gas service across Indian industry. We supply seamless pipe from approved Indian mills in schedule 40 and 80 as standard, with IBR Form III-C where the line falls under boiler regulations.

Seamless Pipes — common questions

What is the difference between ASTM A106 and ASTM A53?
Both are carbon steel pipe specifications. A53 covers welded and seamless pipe intended for general mechanical and low-pressure service, and permits galvanising. A106 is seamless only, with tighter chemistry and mandatory high-temperature mechanical properties, making it the specification for steam and elevated temperature service. When a drawing says A106 Gr.B, A53 is not an acceptable substitute.
What does Sch 40 and Sch 80 mean?
Schedule is a wall thickness designation. For the same nominal bore, Sch 80 has a thicker wall than Sch 40, so it withstands more pressure and has a smaller internal diameter. As an example, 2" NB Sch 40 is 3.91 mm thick while Sch 80 is 5.54 mm. Always specify both nominal bore and schedule.
Do you supply IBR certified seamless pipes?
Yes. We supply approved mills' seamless pipe with IBR Form III-C issued in the buyer's name. Please give us the boiler pressure and the inspecting authority's requirement at enquiry stage, as IBR material is a separate stock and lead time.
