What moves the Kartar Valves price
Almost entirely size and weight — cast iron valves are priced close to their metal content, so a 300 mm sluice valve costs what it costs because of how much iron is in it. Coating specification (epoxy versus bitumen) makes a modest difference.
Lead time
CI sluice and reflux valves up to 200 mm are generally ex-stock. 250 mm and 300 mm run 1 to 2 weeks. Sizes above 300 mm are made to order.

Size, PN rating, whether you need non-rising or outside-screw stem, coating, and whether the ISI mark must be on the casting for inspection purposes.
