"Jindal pipe" in the Delhi market usually means one of two things: Jindal Hissar (Jindal Industries Pvt Ltd) or Jindal Star (Jindal Pipes Ltd). What is the difference between Jindal Hissar and Jindal Star?
They are two separate companies that both use the Jindal name under licence. Jindal Hissar is Jindal Industries Pvt Ltd, manufacturing at Hissar in Haryana, and is particularly strong in hollow sections. Jindal Star is Jindal Pipes Ltd, with plants at Ghaziabad, Bellary, Hyderabad and Raigarh, covering larger diameters up to 24 inch. Both are ISI marked and accepted where a specification says Jindal — but if your drawing names one specifically, order that one.
How do I check whether a Jindal pipe is genuine?
Genuine pipe carries the brand name, ISI mark with licence number, size, class colour band and heat number printed or embossed along the pipe, and comes with a mill test certificate whose heat number matches. We supply the MTC with every invoice; if you want, we will send a photo of the marking on the actual lot before dispatch.
What is today's Jindal pipe price in Delhi?
