What is the price of a Sant 150 mm butterfly valve in Delhi?
Sant publishes a list price that is revised periodically, and dealers apply a discount against it that varies with quantity. Rather than print a figure that will be wrong next month, we send the current list plus your applicable discount on WhatsApp the same working day. Tell us the size, liner and whether you need lever or gear operation.
Should I order wafer or lugged type from Sant?
Wafer is cheaper and correct for a valve sandwiched mid-line between two flanges. Lugged has threaded lugs so each side bolts independently, which means you can dismantle the downstream pipework while the valve still holds pressure — necessary at the end of a header, on equipment isolation and on any dead-end duty.
Are Sant butterfly valves UL/FM approved for fire systems?
Sant manufactures UL listed and FM approved models for fire protection service, and those are what a fire NOC inspection or insurance survey will expect on a hydrant or sprinkler main. They are a separate model from the general-purpose valve, so say at enquiry stage that you need the listed version.
